Unterstützung für Gewerkschaftsarbeit

Repräsentanten der Police and Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) aus Südafrika waren am 10. Dezember 2007 zu Gast in der Bundesgeschäftsstelle in Berlin. Themba Matsane, Zizamele Cebekhulu (Präsident) und Zwilenkosi Mdletshe erörterten mit dem GdP-Bundesvorsitzenden Konrad Freiberg Möglichkeiten der Kommunikation, Kooperation und Unterstützung beim Ausbau einer erfolgreichen und effektiven Gewerkschaft. Die 1989 gegründete Gewerkschaft vertritt inzwischen fast 130.000 Mitglieder aus dem Bereich der Polizei, den Justizvollzugsanstalten und der Verkehrspolizei.
