GdP NRW lobt Bochumer Polizisten für mutigen Rettungseinsatz in der Elbe

Düsseldorf.

Zwei junge Polizistinnen (26 und 29 Jahre) und ihr 39-Jähriger Kollege aus der Einsatzhundertschaft in Bochum haben gestern im Bereich der Elbbrücke in Riesa einem 81-jährigen Mann vor dem Ertrinken gerettet. Die drei NRW-Polizisten sind Teil der Einsatzkräfte, mit denen die NRW-Polizei zurzeit das Bundesland Sachsen beim Hochwasserschutz unterstützt.

Der nordrhein-westfälische GdP-Vorsitzende Arnold Plickert hat das mutige Verhalten der Bochumer Polizisten gelobt. „Alle drei haben sich selber in Lebensgefahr begeben, um einen Menschen zu retten“, sagte Plickert. „Ich kann den drei Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus Bochum für ihren mutigen Einsatz nur danken. Was sie geleistet haben, ist vorbildlich!“
