Terrorfahndung führt Personalmisere der Polizei vor Augen

Die Gewerkschaft der Polizei (GdP) unterstützt die Forderungen der Fraktionsvorsitzenden von Bündnis/90 Die Grünen im Europaparlament, Rebecca Harms, und des Grünen-Fraktionschefs im Bundestag, Anton Hofreiter, den Personalabbau der Polizei zu stoppen und stattdessen mehr Personal einzustellen. Der Zeitschrift "Homeland Security" sagte der GdP-Bundesvorsitzende Oliver Malchow in einem Interview: „Wir sind erfreut, die eher polizeikritische Partei in einer Frage an unserer Seite zu haben, die uns seit Jahren bewegt. 16.000 Stellen sind bei der Polizei in den vergangenen 15 Jahren in Deutschland weggefallen.
