Schließung erschwert Arbeit der Strafermittlungsbehörden

Die Gewerkschaft der Polizei wendet sich gegen eine Schließung der Sektion Sexualmedizin am UKSH. Die Arbeit der Strafermittlungsbehörden bei Straftaten mit sexuellem Hintergrund werde erschwert, so Michael Koettlitz, im Landesvorstand der GdP zuständig für Kriminalpolizei und Kriminalpolitik.

"Das Institut ist bei diesen Straftaten in Prognose und Gutachten für uns äußerst hilfreich. Wenn künftig statt der zwei bundesweit tätigen habilitierten Sexualmediziner einer wegfällt, bedeutet dieses einen Verlust, der nicht kompensiert werden kann."

Der Vorstand der UKSH wird deshalb aufgefordert sich für den Erhalt der Sexualmedizin in Schleswig-Holstein einzusetzen.
