GdP B-W: GdP-Forderung wird von der Landesregierung umgesetzt

Eberdingen-Hochdorf/Stuttgart.

„Wir freuen uns für unsere Kolleginnen und Kollegen, dass die Landesregierung Baden-Württemberg entsprechend der Forderung der GdP eine Nachbesserung im Polizeigesetz angekündigt hat“, so der Landesvorsitzende der GdP, Hans-Jürgen Kirstein. „Die Einsicht, dass die Beschränkung des Einsatzes von Bodycams auf den öffentlichen Bereich nicht zielführend ist, wird unseren Polizistinnen und Polizisten ihre tägliche Arbeit erleichtern und für noch mehr Sicherheit sorgen.“

Mit ihrer Ankündigung hat die Landesregierung auf die Forderung der GdP reagiert. Mit der Gesetzesänderung wird der Einsatz von Bodycams auch in geschlossenen Räumen, wie zum Beispiel in Privatwohnungen, zulässig sein. Dafür bedankt sich Kirstein im Namen seiner Kolleginnen und Kollegen bei der Landesregierung von Baden-Württemberg.
