Der Bundesvorsitzende der Gewerkschaft der Polizei (GdP) Jochen Kopelke sprach mit dem Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND) über Strafverschärfungen für Klimaaktivisten. Der Verhinderungsgewahrsam sei ein wirksames und verhältnismäßiges Instrument des gesetzlichen Auftrages der Gefahrenabwehr. Es brauche eine Harmonisierung der Polizeigesetze, um Protest-Tourismus effektiver vorbeugen zu können. Sein Statement beim RND:
